On Wednesday 12 October 2016, the Centre for Information and Research on Organised Crime (CIROC) organises a seminar called:

The illegal wildlife trade

The illegal trade in wildlife is a form of crime that nationally and internationally receives increased attention. Not least because of the growing involvement of organized crime. Why has the trade become so attractive for criminal groups? Why is there increasing international attention to this problem? Who are the criminal actors and what is their modus operandi? And what are the major obstacles and solutions in tackling this relatively new phenomenon? These questions are central to the seminar organized by CIROC.
